YOICOT is the Non-government Organization with the main goal of reducing poverty of youth prevailing in the grassroots community by promoting use of science and technology skills.
The Organization has been serving the youth of Tanzania for 10 years by extended its services to three (3) regional which is Dar es Salaam, Kagera and Pwani.
YOICOT started its operation in September, 2013 and got its registration on 16th of March, 2016 with the registration of 00NGO/08482 from the Ministry of health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children of Tanzania. The Organization envisioned to achieve youth empowerment by teaching them to utilize the natural resources like lakes, swamps, profession people around them to do entrepreneurship, so that to reduce poverty through youth’s participation.
YOICOT Tanzania serves as the avenue for the community members to access opportunities within and outside Tanzania. It paves the way to improve the unemployed youth living condition to become financially secured in order to meet the demands of everyday life and achieve a better quality of life.
